Such a great explanation of some really great alternative maples for hotter and drier climates. I have several Pacific Sunset and Norwegian Sunset Maples and find them beautiful from the glossy green foliage to the stunning fall colors. I am always looking to expand the variety of truncatum in my 9b Northern CA property and look forward to purchasing these when they come available!
