Acer palmatum 'Syuka' is a neat newer selection by Tsukasa Maple in Japan that is a gorgeous chartreuse green Japanese maple with amazing yellow fall color that develops a red finger nail in the fall similar to 'Tsuma gaki' in the spring. The habit on 'Syuka' is upright reaching 6-7ft in 15 years.
