'Ryuzu' is a dwarf Japanese maple tree that has twisting green leaves that have a salmon-pink hue in the early spring.  The habit is extremely compact, with the leaves layering. During the summer, these twisting green leaves turn to a dark green. Fall colors are bright oranges to reds. 'Ryuzu' may reach up 6 ft in 15 years. The name 'Ryuzu' translates as "dragon's head".
