'Wakehurst Pink' is a bright pink flushing upright Japanese maple from Wakehurst Place Gardens in England. The tree was so beautiful, it was grafted and introduced by Esveld Nursery in the Netherlands. After the spring flush of pink, the large leaves become olive green with bronze highlights. 'Wakehurst Pink' is quite attractive and very showy. Fall color is a bright fiery red. 'Wakehurst Pink' will typically get 8-10 ft in height in width in 15 years.
