'Pride of Mobile’ is a classic southern indicum with strong rose pink blooms and a darker blotch on each bloom. Theses colorful blooms are 2.5 inches in size and appear midseason. ‘Pride of Mobile’ is a taller upright azalea reaching 6-8 ft in height by 6 ft in width in 10 years. ‘Pride of Mobile’ has also been known under the names ‘Elegans Superba’ and ‘Watermelon’.
