'Variegata' is a gorgeous yellow variegated sycoparrotia. Sycoparrotia is a fairly unique hybrid between Parrotia persica and Sycopsis sinensis. It has a really nice smooth grey bark with semi-deciduous leaves. This means in colder climates, 'Variegata' will lose its leaves. In the early spring red-green blooms fell the branches. The yellow margins on the variegated leaves are spectacular. 'Variegata' is fairly vigorous reaching 12-14 ft in height in 10 years.
