Acer palmatum dissectum 'Roseo marginatum' is a classic Japanese maple that is not often found in the nursery trade. It leafs out as deep rosy red with green new growth shoots that provide a great contrast. Mid-summer, this selection turns to a bronze red mid-summer before turning to a bright orange in the fall. 'Roseo marginatum' can reach 4ft tall by 5 ft wide in 10 years.

There are two other maples know by the name 'roseomarginatum' which this form is easy to distinguish by its laceleaf and weeping habit. This Japanese maple is also known as 'Roseomarginatum Dissectum'.
