Acer japonicum 'Meigetsu itaya'

'Meigetsu itaya' is a full moon Japanese maple with an extremely large leaf. The leaf gets even bigger, sometimes the size of dinner plates, when grown in the shade. 'Meigetsu' means bright moon, which is quite fitting for a Japanese maple with such an electric fall color of bright yellows, oranges, and reds. 'Meigetsu itaya' may reach up to 15 ft in height in 20 years.
