It arrived in healthy condition and was packed with care. When I received it there were blooms starting to open and both honey bees and bumble bees wouldn’t leave it alone. The smell is just amazing and I’m buying another one. I can’t find a photo but will update when I do. Mine did not survive a harsh summer so it will have to be brought indoors as bonsai when I purchase another one. Keep in mind as a bonsai it needs to be watered daily and temperatures over 105 F with unrelenting wind didn’t help. Unfortunately the weather was unpredictable.
I’m working on a greenhouse for my bonsai. The winters are harsh and weather can change too fast for wisteria in the ground. The vine currently in the ground has been there for decades and is thriving so once they are established these vines are hardy. I have no regrets buying this wisteria but I wish the weather in Texas wasn’t so combative for gardening and bonsai.
