‘Hogyoku’ is best known for its amazing fall coloration. This is an upright green Japanese maple with a brilliant yellow to pumpkin orange fall coloration.

This 'Hogyoku' Japanese maple can reach up to around 20 ft in 20 years. 'Hogyoku' is a fairly vigorous grower. ‘Hogyoku’ is a very old Japanese cultivar that is hardy to sun or shade conditions. This tree will be a colorful addition to your landscape and will provide a great contrast with other trees.

Healthy Tree Shipped Properly

I've worked in the landscape industry for 18 years. I am tired of using the same old plant material in our local nurseries and for my home I wanted to do something different. I am excited about having a unique variety not found in nurseries near me. Both plants I ordered look great and packaged safely. Looking forward to see how they mature over the years. Also, did some price comparison and found Mr. Maple is competitive to other online growers.

I order 2 trees from Mr Maple and both showed up well packaged in great condition. I've ordered several trees online from other companies that DO NOT take the same care with packaging as these guys do. Would definitely order from them again.
