‘Beni tsukasa’ is an amazing multi-colored small upright Japanese maple selection from the famous Tsukasa Nursery in Japan. This Japanese maple tree has great foliage that is ever-changing throughout the seasons. ‘Beni tsukasa’ leafs out in the early spring with shades of peach, yellow and red. This tree has gradually emerging tones of green eventually maturing into soft green tones in mid-summer. The autumn color evokes shades or orange and red. This upright Japanese maple tree has an open branching habit and reaches 8 to 10 feet over time. Beni tsukasa has a unique leaf that gives it a delicate appearance that compliments the soft color tones for a very esthetically pleasing look.
