Ghost Dragon | Cultivar Spotlight

Introducing the latest addition to MrMaple's Pendulous Treasure Collection™ - 'Ghost Dragon'. After years of evaluation, we are thrilled to finally offer this unique weeping selection. During spring, its leaves turn downward like a hand with red tips resembling painted fingernails. The most remarkable feature of 'Ghost Dragon' is its strong cascading arching habit. For a taller tree, staking it up to 5-6 ft is recommended, allowing it to cascade down like a beautiful fountain. This tree is perfect for containers too. In autumn, the leaves transform into a bright red-orange hue. Under specific environmental conditions, 'Ghost Dragon' may display a reticulated variegation to the leaf in early spring. Suitable for Zones 5 through 9.
