Acer palmatum 'Hubble's Super Cork'

Introducing 'Hubble's Super Cork' - one of the finest selections of corky pinebark by Scott Hubble of Metro Maples in Texas. This new cultivar boasts the most corky bark among rough bark Japanese maples to date, and at a younger age, giving it a more mature look early on. The leaves are green in summer, transitioning to a stunning orange-red hue in the fall. In 15 years, 'Hubble's Super Cork' is expected to grow to a height of 8-10 ft. This cultivar thrives in zones 5 through 9.
