I have a 3 year old “Hot Tamale” that is in a container. There is no doubt that it is thriving. As of Sepember 18 , 2024, the leaves are browning. But I live in Corpus Christ Texas. I use a gardening standard planter because I realize the importance of drainage. I water twice a day with filtered water. My question is should I transplant it to a larger planter and is it ok to trim it, it has grown so much? It will always be in a container where I can control the amount of sun. I lost a “Hot Blond” as well as “Hefners Red”. So this one Hot Tamale is my pride and joy…. Any suggestions will be appreciated, Thank you, Brooke Burbach
