'Yellow Canary' is a new selection by Talon Buchholz that appears to be more vigorous for us than 'Aureum' and has larger leaves as well. The yellow color on 'Yellow Canary' is quite striking, but since this is a new evaluation, we recommend 'Yellow Canary' morning sun with protection from the hot afternoon sun until further is known about this tree. 'Yellow Canary' is expected to reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years. This golden full moon Japanese maple is a fast- or vigorous-growing variety with bold, bright yellow leaves.
