Acer circinatum 'Sunglow' is quite a unique hybrid vine maple. The smaller leaves appear in the spring with apricot to peach to orange color.  These rich colors fade to golden yellow to chartreuse infused with orange throughout the veins of the leaf. This makes this plant especially showy. 'Sunglow' turns to bright red to deep purple red in the fall. 'Sunglow' may reach 6 ft in height and width in 10 years creating a dense ball-like shape. Make sure to give 'Sunglow' morning sun with protection from the hot afternoon sun for best growth and health of the plant. ‘Sunglow’ was introduced by Buchholz Nursery of Oregon.
