Acer palmatum 'Daidai haru' Spring Orange Japanese Maple
Acer palmatum 'Daidai haru'
Rare Daidai haru Spring Orange Japanese Maple Tree
Zones 5-9
'Daidai haru' is new selection of Japanese maple that displays bright orange color in the spring. During the summer the foliage is a golden yellow to yellow-green. With some sunlight, 'Daidai haru' displays dark burgundy branching, making great contrast with the foliage. This selection, by our good friend David Freed, got its name from one of the ways to say "Spring Orange" in Japanese. 'Daidai haru' may reach 12 ft in 15 years.
Trees were potted from large liners to gallons in this spring and may not have completely filled out their pots.
Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
