'Iro iro' is a unique Japanese maple in the fact that in the spring time it has both pink reticulated variegated leaves and green leaves that have purple red margins. While the purple red margins fade, the pink reticulated variegation turns to a creamy white. Fall color is a bright orange to red. From our best understanding 'Iro iro' means "color-color" or possibly "Nicely Two-colored" to describe these different two styles of the leaves on the same tree. 'Iro iro' may reach 8-12 ft in 10 years.
