‘Ki hachijo’ is an interesting upright green Japanese maple. The leaf on this Japanese maple tree is very serrated giving it a light and airy feel. The intricate notches to the leaf shape make for a great palate of color change. In the autumn, Ki hachijo puts on a beautiful show of yellows, later becoming infused with orange. This Japanese maple tree grows well in sun or filtered light. 'Ki hachijo' can grow up to 12-14 ft in 20 years.
