'Koriba' is a classic and older selection of an upright Japanese maple with some amazing characteristics. The leaves are brick red in the spring with lime-green to yellow veining in the leaf. The leaf stems and branching are yellow-green as well creating a unique contrast. In the summer, 'Koriba' may have bronze-colored leaves that quite attractive, still with lime green veining. In the fall, 'Koriba' starts out as a bright yellow infused with orange. By late fall 'Koriba' may display yellow, orange and red all at the same time. 'Koriba' may reach 8-10 ft in height in 10 years.

Trees were potted up to 1 gallons in the spring and may have completely filled out their pots.
