Acer palmatum 'Lady Bug' Japanese Maple
Acer palmatum 'Lady Bug'
Japanese Maple
Zones 5-9
'Lady Bug' is a neat new selection in the "Mikawa Family Collection" of Japanese maples. In the spring time, 'Lady Bug' boasts a nice orange-red similar to that of a lady bug. By mid-to-late spring 'Lady Bug' matures to green. In autumn, 'Lady Bug' turns to orange and red. 'Lady Bug' displays a tight and dense shape reaching 3 ft in height and width in 10 years. The habit of 'Lady Bug' is similar to that of 'Mikawa yatsubusa', having a layering and shingling effect of the leaves on the branches. 'Lady Bug' was found and introduced by MrMaple as part of their Area 51 Collection: Maples that are out of this world!
Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
