Rare Lima Gold Dwarf Japanese Maple Tree

'Lima Gold' is a treasure of a Japanese maple out of Lima, Pennsylvania, by Dick Wolff of Red Maple Nursery. This plant is an excellent choice for bonsai! 'Lima Gold' leafs out with small green foliage and an extremely dense habit. A 'Lima Gold' at one of our good friend's gardens in Wall, NJ, was about 4 ft tall and 5 ft wide in 10 years. Fall color starts out as a bright golden yellow turning an orange gold to red. 'Lima Gold' makes a great bonsai, an excellent container tree, or simply a great dwarf for that smaller space in your garden.

This little tree by arrived nice and healthy.

It grew a lot of vibrant leaves pretty quickly, it was so beautiful! I was really excited about watching it grow, but my daughter rescued this dog someone dumped and we put it in our backyard until we found it an home and it ate my plant. :( So sad, I came to buy another one but they are sold out. If they come back in stock please let me know, I would love another chance! :)
