Acer palmatum 'Little Embers' Japanese Maple
Acer palmatum 'Little Embers'
Dwarf Glowing Embers Japanese Maple
Zones 5-9
'Little Embers' was found at a customers home in Athens, GA as a dwarf broom mutation on a seedling from the 'Glowing Embers' at the UGA State Botanic Gardens. This green foliage dwarf is a good strong grower, but is denser and more compact than 'Glowing Embers'. This class of 'Little Embers' were the first grafted from the broom and were grafted in January of 2012. Like it's lineage suggests, 'Little Embers' lights up the in the fall with bright fiery orange-red. We expect 'Little Embers' to get 8ft in 10 years.
Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
