'Mai zuru' is a new variegated selection found as a chance seedling from Elizabeth Mundy at Acer Acres. This selection leafs out in the spring splashed with pink and white variegation, which matures to white variegation during the summer. Fall color can range from orange to red. According to Elizabeth, she expects this tree to reach 15-18 ft in 15-20 years. The name 'Mai zuru' translates as "Dancing Crane".
