If you guessed 'Mon papa' in fall color, you would be correct. 'Mon papa' leafs out in the spring as a bright pink-red, before turning burgundy for most of the year. During the summer, the foliage matures to a green to bronze. What 'Mon papa' is famous for is extraordinary crimson red to scarlet red fall color. 'Mon papa' may reach 10-12 ft in height and width in 15 years.
