'Prince Charming’ originated as a reversion to 'Hana matoi' that puts on quite a display of color in the spring with a pink-red display while the interior part of the leaf may be more green. The color on 'Prince Charming' is quite attractive as many have asked for this tree to get into production. 'Prince Charming' is expected to reach 4-5 ft by 5-6 ft in width with a nice cascading habit. Fall color is typically a brilliant shade of red.

This tree is so graceful. To watch it leaf out is like watching a ballerina dancing.
Each bud opens like a delicate flower dancing in a ballet. I wish I had a slow motion camera to take pictures.
