'Red Spider' is a special form of red strap leaf. The cherry red spring spider-like foliage turns darker red in the summer. The fall color on 'Red Spider' is a bright crimson red. 'Red Spider' is said to have lateral branching that arch downward on the tips with an overall upright tree form that reaches 12-15 ft in height in 15 years.
