We first saw this unique tree at Tsukasa Maple in Japan. ‘Tsukasa Dwarf’ is a small upright dwarf Japanese maple with small green leaves.  These small leaves would make this an excellent candidate for bonsai. The habit has been fairly slow for us and is expected to reach 4-5 ft in height in 10 years. Fall color on ‘Tsukasa Dwarf’ is a bright red. This is the first ever offering of ‘Tsukasa Dwarf’ in the United States.
