Acer palmatum 'Green Mist'
Weeping Green 'Green Mist' Laceleaf Japanese Maple

Zones 5-9

'Green Mist' is a small weeping green laceleaf Japanese maple that will reach 5 ft by 7 ft in 10 years. The fall color is bright neon yellow.

The tree in the photo is the original 'Green Mist' at Red Maple Nurseries in Lima, Pennsylvania. The man in the photo is our good friend, Billy Schwartz, who studied maples under Dick Wolff, who introduced this tree.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.

Green Mist

This JM came into us in great shape and condition. A beautiful JM that my wife picked out. I was able to plant her in the ground immediately as a spot had been determined prior to us receiving her. She has already had growth (albeit a small amount) and is responding positively to location she was planted in. I will update with photo in near future.

Just loving it!!!

Of course I just read the article in the NYT and I love the passion. I have a red Japanese maple on my property in Gaines Pa. Which is quite large and I am thinking of planting something new. I’m no expert and wondered how well these ship? At this time you have 2 varieties available?

Thank you,
Steve

Cold tolerant, great form and color

I bought this tree in 2020. It has beautiful colors and form. I keep it in a large container and accidentally left it out during a few zero degree days this winter. It survived and leafed out nicely, no problems!
