'Kawahara Rose' leafs out in the early spring with colors of bright salmon pink to rose. By mid-summer, the leaves mature to a rich green, just in time to provide contrast for the secondary flush of orange red. Fall colors on this beautiful Japanese maple are bright yellows to oranges. 'Kawahara Rose' will reach 6-8 ft in 10 years. This Japanese selection was introduced into the nursery trade by Maillot Bonsai of France.

Incredible

This amazing hardy tree survived outside in a pot as a 1 gallon during 2022’s extremely hot summer then the Artic and Siberian cold blasts of a deathly winter. Her 2023 spring color brought tears she’s so gorgeous. Then she went on to grow like there’s no tomorrow sporting more outstanding color. This tree is a must have. She has been in ground since spring where she gets quite a bit of full sun and is just fabulous!
