Corylopsis gotoana 'March Jewel' is a selection with large golden blooms in early March which are fairly frost resistant. 'March Jewel' has become one of the most popular winter hazels because of its heavy and consistent fragrance. Smell in the garden is important to bringing the true garden atmosphere and 'March Jewel' will not disappoint with its fragrance. Corylopsis gotoana 'March Jewel' is larger than many other winter hazel selections creating a nice upright dwarf reaching 2 - 3 ft in height and width in 10 years.
