Pinus nigra 'Black Prince' is a compact, dwarf evergreen conifer with short, dark green to nearly black needles that create a striking contrast in the landscape. The whitish buds add a lively touch in winter. This cultivar has a pyramidal shape when young, gradually becoming more rounded with age. Over 10 years, it typically grows 6-8 ft tall and 4-6 ft wide.
