Populus deltoides ‘Purple Tower’ is a fast-growing, columnar poplar with deep purple to bronze foliage. In about 10 years, it typically reaches 20–33 ft tall and 6–10 ft wide, depending on soil, climate, and pruning. It thrives in full sun and moist, fertile soils but adapts to various conditions. Annual pruning or pollarding helps keep it compact and enhances leaf size. With its narrow, upright habit and striking color, it makes an excellent specimen or screen tree.
