'Loowit' Northern Japanese Hemlock is a charming, slow-growing dwarf conifer with a dense, broad form. Its new growth emerges a fresh, bright green in spring before maturing to a rich, deep green by summer, creating a beautiful seasonal contrast. This compact hemlock thrives in sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. Expect it to reach about 1.5' tall and 2' wide in 10 years, making it an excellent choice for small gardens, rock gardens, or conifer collections.
