‘Murasaki kiyohime’ has a very dramatic spring color. The small leaf shows a vivid purple boarder divided by a green center. ‘Murasaki kiyohime’ grows in a globe-like habit and stays low to the ground.

Murasaki kiyohime can grow wider than it does tall and typically gets about 4 ft by 6 ft in 10 years. The small size and shape of this dwarf Japanese maple make it a favorite for bonsai enthusiasts.
