This sterile barberry is non-invasive! Meet Sunjoy Mini Maroon®, a vibrant and low-maintenance barberry that won't become a nuisance. After more than 10 years of development by Dr. Tom Ranney, the result is a stunning plant with rich, deep purple-red foliage forming a dense, well-shaped mound. It remains compact and lush without pruning and, like all barberries, is highly resistant to deer and rabbit damage. Best of all, it doesn’t produce the problematic seeds of other varieties, making it a superior choice.
