'Twisted Sister' is a rare dwarf selection of Japanese larch that has a compact and twisting habit. The branching on this deciduous conifer is what makes this larch so amazing. 'Twisted Sister' was found as a witches' broom on Larix 'Diana' and was introduced by Buchholz Nursery. 'Twisted Sister' may reach 3-4 ft in height and width in 10 years. The green needles of the larch turn to a bright yellow before dropping leaves in the fall. Make sure to not overwater Larix as they will go into an early stage of dormancy. With its compact, twisting habit and brilliant yellow fall colors, 'Twisted Sister' is a unique and beautiful selection of Japanese larch.
