Davidia involucrata 'White Dust' is an upright deciduous tree native to Japan and is rarely found in American collections. It has oval green leaves that are spotted with white. In May, the tree produces drooping white flower bracts. It prefers well-drained soil and sun/partial shade. The tree can grow up to 8 ft tall and 4 ft wide in 10 years. It is hardy to -10 degrees and is suitable for USDA zone 6.
