Growing at a rate of 7 ft in a span of 10 years, Tsuga canadensis, also known as Eastern hemlock or Canada hemlock, was unearthed in 1936 by Henry Hohman of Kingsville Nurseries. This robust and slow-growing tree excels in shaded habitats, uniquely thriving in low light conditions, showcasing its enduring and adaptable nature.
