Acer palmatum 'Winter Flame'
Dwarf Coral Bark Winter Flame Japanese Maple

Zones 6-9

'Winter Flame' is a dwarf coral bark selection that may reach up to 6-7 ft in height in 15 years. One characteristic that really sets this dwarf coral bark apart from other coral bark selections is how the chartreuse leaves twist and curl, providing a unique texture. Fall color is a bright golden yellow, although the real show starts as the leaves fall off the tree exposing the bare bright red branching. This coral bark provides great winter interest for the winter garden.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have over a thousand cultivars of Japanese maples, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the Japanese maples you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.

Beautiful!

Tree arrived in great shape and is destined for a bonsai project. It's mid November so I'm just going to overwinter it in it's 1 gal pot on an enclosed unheated porch. Mr. Maple never dissapoints me! Great tree. Great packing and fast delivery to Rochester. N.Y.

Great bark color

Love this maple year round. Brings great holiday cheer, with its bright red bark color, and into the dreary winter months. The green leaves emerging in the spring provides great contrast to the bark.
