Cercis texensis 'Oklahoma', or Oklahoma Redbud, is a compact deciduous tree native to Texas that typically reaches 15–20 ft tall and wide in 10 years. It features heart-shaped green leaves and produces striking magenta-pink flowers along bare branches in early spring, creating a vivid display before the foliage emerges. Adaptable to full sun or partial shade and well-drained soil, it is drought-tolerant once established. Its foliage also offers attractive fall color, turning yellow or reddish, making it an excellent choice for small landscapes or as a specimen tree.
