Picea abies ‘Lemonade’ is a compact, slow-growing Norway spruce cultivar valued for its vibrant golden-yellow foliage, which is especially striking in winter. Over 10 years, it typically matures to about 4.5 ft tall and 3 ft wide, forming a pyramidal shape with an open-branching habit. Its bright, cheerful color provides year-round contrast to darker evergreens, making it an excellent choice for small gardens, rockeries, borders, or containers. A hybrid of Picea abies ‘Acrocona’ and ‘Gold Drift,’ this distinctive selection was discovered by Robert Finchum.
