Pinus parviflora 'Aoi' is an excellent selection of white pine from Japan. The needles display an excellent shade of blue, where it gets its name 'Aoi', which is Japanese for blue-green. 'Aoi' grows fairly upright reaching 4-6 ft in height by 3-4 ft in width in 10 years.
