'Firefall' is a weeping red laceleaf Japanese maple that is going to shock the world as a weeping red Japanese maple. 'Firefall' is a cherry red in the spring. Instead of maroon, 'Firefall' is a brighter red throughout late spring and early summer. 'Firefall' may turn to a maroon by mid-to-late summer. Fall color on 'Firefall' is on fire in the fall with a bright orange red. 'Firefall' may reach 4-5 ft in height by 5-6 ft in width in 10 years.
