Acer palmatum 'Lileeanne's Jewel' is a brand new introduction with a rare variegation of pink and white on a bright cherry red and heavily divided leaf. Mid-summer colors are a green-red with pink and white variegation. It is estimated to get about 10-12 ft in 15 years. Fall colors are crimson reds infused with hot pink variegation. This selection is fairly heat tolerant as it has handled the sun of Simpsonville, SC, without burn to the variegation. The variegation appears fairly stable. However, since this is a new cultivar, we suggest avoiding heavy fertilizers. Any branches not showing variegation should be trimmed out.
This rare Japanese maple was found as a chance seedling by our friend, Johnathon Savelich, and named after his daughter, Lileeanne.

This tree arrived a couple of days after I ordered it. Even better than the pictures, the variegation is spectacular. The tree is fully 4 feet tall for a 1 gallon! The leaves are larger than I expected[ so hard to judge leaf size in the photos]. So great to have a dependable, quality nursery on the east coast[ I live in New Jersey]. I've ordered so many plants from Mr. Maple and they never disappoint. Great work folks.
Nice specimen of a tree that I received to Georgia. My tree arrived safely. Height was over 20 inches for 1 gallon plant. Can't wait to see the color changes with this one. First order along with three other one gallons.
As always, wonderfully packaged and arrived in great condition. This is the 3rd Japanese maple I’ve ordered and couldn’t be more pleased. It came quickly and looked great, even in the heat of the Deep South zone 7b. I’ve ordered quite a few other plants from Mr. Maple and everything from prices, packaging, and to customer service are the best! I’m not quite sure if there was supposed to be a leader staked but I chose one and staked it myself. We’ll see how that goes. I’m waiting until the fall to get this baby in the ground. I mean any JM we get from Mr Maple is a great tree, but I really love this one and can't wait to see it grow into a bigger tree. It's so gorgeous and of course price/shipping time are better than anyone else! Thanks again for another wonderful tree, Mr Maple!
Finally, an addiction I don't need rehab for! I just keep buying trees from mr maples. Got another one arriving today in fact. I think this one may actually be my favorite. Received it mid summer and it looks like someone splashed pink, white, green and burgundy paint all over the leaves. Unbelievable beauty. As soon as lileeannes jewel becomes available again I will definitely be purchasing another
