‘Butterfly’ is a midsized upright tree that has amazing variegation. This tree emerges in the early spring with bright pink edges over a swirled white and green leaf. As the summer goes on the pink gradually fades away leaving the green inner leaf with a magnificent white boarder. As new growth comes it is tinged with the bright pink accents.
‘Butterfly’ grows 8-10 ft over time. This tree grows best when late afternoon sun is filtered. With its size and color, ‘Butterfly’ makes an excellent specimen, container plant or accent tree.

I received 2 butterfly maples XL for my Moms birthday.
I was expecting of course nice good size maples from Mr.Maple.
I received 2 6ft maples!! I was astounded when I opened up the box to the size of the trees I received!! The leaves look and I mean exactly like the picture. Could not ask for more from Mr maple.

I was amazed how big it was for a one gallon. The variegation is amazing. It’s a beautiful tree. Packaged great and arrived fast per usual with MrMaple. You should definitely get one if you don’t have one. I’ve only used in a container so far in part shade.
