Upright Red Laceleaf Japanese Maple

The holy grail of Japanese maples! 'English Lace' is a brand new laceleaf selection that is the tallest of any of the red dissectums. That's right, I said it gets upright growth and it is a laceleaf. It also gets some width with age. This selection leafs out in the early spring with a rich burgundy dissected leaf. This gives a soft appearance to a mid-sized tree. This selection grows upward reaching 10-12 ft in height by 15 ft in width in 20 years. Fall colors are bright oranges to reds. Like 'Seiryu' it is recommended to stake this selection for best upright growth.
