'Pink Panther' bursts into bright pink foliage in early spring. As the season progresses, its vibrant hue mellows to a crisp olive green, complemented by coral pink new growth in summer. Come autumn, expect a stunning display of orange to red foliage. Distinguished by its larger, more amoenum-like leaves compared to other spring-interest trees, 'Pink Panther' reaches heights of 8-10 ft over 10 years. Developed by the Mendoza family, this variety is a fresh addition to the botanical scene.

Shaping up to be a nice tree

Ordered a 3 gallon and I wasn’t completely thrilled when it first arrived. Although very well packaged and free of any limb breakage, a large number of leaves had wilted or dried out. It could just be the delicate nature of the leaves. So I trimmed off the wilted leaves and potted it up in a 15 inch pot. It’s been raining a lot and a couple of weeks after repotting, the tree is showing a lot of pretty pink new growth. So, at this point I’m happy with my tree.

I've purchased from Mr. Maple a few times before my Pink Panther maple purchase and I continue to be very happy with the quality plus the variety they carry. I so appreciate the optional sizes as many large trees as so much more expensive but I get a large specimen and my first japanese maple I bought is now a beautiful staple in our landscape.
