Cercis Hearts A'Fire™ is brand new selection of redbud by our friends Ray and Cindy Jackson. He created 'The Rising Sun', and now he has done it again with 'Hearts A'Fire'. This cultivar renowned for its striking heart-shaped leaves and vibrant red foliage. The color gradient on this selection is quite striking in the summer with fiery red new growth maturing to orange, peach, yellow, and dark green. Before the leaves appear, the tree produces clusters of small, pea-like flowers in shades of red to purplish-pink directly on its branches and trunk, creating a stunning display. Hearts A'Fire™ Redbud is a small to medium-sized tree, typically reaching heights of 15 to 25 ft with a spread of up to 20 ft in 15 years. Its relatively fast growth and ornamental appeal make it an excellent choice for gardens and landscapes. Take advantage of one of the first times this selection has been made available by mail-order.

looks very promising
This tree arrived quickly and packaged well. So far, it’s doing well out in the landscape with my Flamethrower and Rising Sun Redbuds.
The tree came well packaged and in good shape. I put the pot in a shaded garden area and kept it well watered until I was ready to plant it. Because of high winds for a few days, I staked it and will probably leave it staked until it is larger, since it is so small. Planting small and letting it grow in place is beneficial. Thank you to your friends who cultivated this new variety and to you for making it available long distance to me.
This is one kind of redbud tree that I was looking for. Tree arrived very fast in a good shape. Looked very nice, healthy!
