Acer palmatum 'Beni Hime' is a dwarf Japanese Maple prized for its compact size and vivid red foliage. Over a span of 10 years, it typically grows to about 3-4 ft in height and 2-3 ft in  width. Its petite stature makes it perfect for small gardens, containers, or bonsai cultivation. The leaves are small and deeply lobed, displaying a striking red hue that remains vibrant throughout the season. In autumn, the foliage transforms into a brilliant scarlet before falling. 'Beni Hime' features a dense, rounded growth habit with a bushy, compact form, developing a charming mound-like shape.

'Beni hime' is a tree that can be very difficult to grow and is not for a beginner. One tip we can give is to make sure you have very good drainage for this tree.
